How to Make an American Quilt
Finn Dodd, a graduate student poised for marriage, begins to doubt her engagement as she suspects her fiancé is unfaithful. To clear her head, she travels to Grasse, Calif., to visit her grandmother Hy and great-aunt Glady Joe Cleary. There, she discovers that Hy and Glady Joe belong to a devoted circle of quilters. During her stay, she is regaled with stories of love and life from women whose rich experiences and hard-won wisdom illuminate her own path.
