I Surrender Dear
Patty Nelson lands a position as a singer with orchestra leader Al Tyler, touring with the band under the name "Patty Hart." When her father, Russ, is dismissed from his radio-station job, the disc jockey chosen to replace him is Al Tyler himself. Patty hurries home to stand by Russ on the air during his final days, leaving Al puzzled by her sudden departure. The new "Patty and Russ" radio show quickly wins a following, but its popularity stirs trouble for Al and the station bosses.
