Two years earlier, she ended her engagement with Taneda Kotaro because he was a workaholic. On the job, she consistently leaves at the end of the standard workday and never works overtime. She strives to maximize efficiency and productivity during her regular hours. After leaving the office, she typically has a beer at her regular Chinese restaurant. Her peaceful days begin to change when a new department head arrives at the office.
