Casey Cox becomes a fugitive after discovering that her best friend Brent has been murdered and that she is being framed for the crime. With trust in short supply, Casey evades pursuit, drawing on her sharp intellect, resourcefulness, and what she believes are signs of divine guidance to sustain her on a perilous journey. Meanwhile, Dylan Roberts, a battle-weary veteran and private investigator grappling with PTSD, is hired to track her down.
