Izo
Izo is an assassin in the service of a Tosa lord who backs the Imperial cause. After slaughtering dozens of the Shogun's men, he is captured and crucified. Instead of being extinguished, his fury propels him through the space-time continuum to present-day Tokyo. There, Izo transforms into a new, improved killing machine.
