

Jane Eyre
From a bleak and impoverished childhood, Jane Eyre sets out into the wider world to become a governess. She finds happiness in her new position at Thornfield Hall, where the dark, cold, and abrupt master of the house, Edward Rochester, governs the estate. As Jane and her employer build a close friendship, she discovers she is falling in love with him. It seems happiness has finally found Jane, but Rochester's terrible secret threatens to destroy it forever.
