Joy of Joys
This documentary offers an intimate tour behind the scenes at Abbey Road Studios, capturing the recording of HELP(2), the Mercury Prize–nominated charity album released in 2026 by War Child Records, which aids children in conflict zones around the world. For its creation, Glazer enlisted pivotal help: London-based schoolchildren were given their own digital cameras and encouraged to document the studio sessions in any manner they preferred. Their curiosity and inventiveness are echoed in footage from spirited children in war-torn regions—Gaza, Sudan, Ukraine, Yemen—whom Glazer also supplied with cameras. The finished film, described by Glazer and regular music collaborator Mica Levi as by children, for children, stands as a testament to youthful openness and wonder amid the evils of the adult world.
