Season 3

Following pleas from Maxine and Peter, Amy begins to repair her strained relationship with Vincent; back in town and employed anew in the prosecutor's office, Stu Collins suffers a near-fatal heart attack after a heated exchange with Amy, who cannot reach any of his friends or family; Maxine attempts to assist a couple divided over whether to relinquish the special-needs child they adopted, yet she cannot prevent the tragedy that unfolds; the teenage son of a mobster stands before Amy's court for setting a fire that destroyed a store and maimed an employee after a quarrel with the store's owner; en route to recovery, Stu admits to Amy that he has harbored a crush on her for years; Amy and Bruce push the boundaries of their relationship.
