Just 20
An experimental examination of the brutal reality of date rape within youth and college culture, inspired by the remarks of Dan A. Turner, father of Brock Turner—the Stanford student convicted of rape—urging a judge to sentence his son to probation, a plea that sparked widespread outrage. Central to the narrative is the line, "His life will never be the one that he dreamed about and worked so hard to achieve. That is a steep price to pay for 20 minutes of action out of his 20 plus years of life." Just 20 is an unflinching look at what 20 minutes of "action" looks like, let alone wondering its effects for the victim for a life time to come.
