Kim's Convenience
A funny, heartfelt portrait of the Kim family, a Korean-Canadian clan running a neighborhood convenience store in downtown Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. Kim, known as Appa and Umma, immigrated to Toronto in the 1980s to establish their shop near Regent Park. They raised two children, Jung and Janet, who are now young adults. However, when Jung was 16, he and Appa endured a major falling out involving a physical fight and stolen money, and Jung left home. Father and son have been estranged ever since.

I didn't think I would like it, but I really enjoyed this! My sides split a number of times. Just disappointed though that it got cancelled.

This series has an intriguing premise, but the recurring storylines and cliché characters that have barely passable arcs and annoying personalities ruin it for me.
