Kita Yoshio's Tomorrow

Can a coward truly go through with suicide? Kita Yoshio—a man plagued by misfortune—sets his suicide date as the anniversary of a close friend's death, a mere 11 days ahead. The number 11 threads through his life: he was born on November 11; his roll-call number at school was 11; and 11 years ago he and his wife, Mizuho, divorced. Burdened by debt and feeling dispensable, he sells all his possessions and prepares for his end. But on day one, he crosses paths with Yashiro Heita, along with a cast of others who will propel him through the most eventful 11 days of his life.
