Set in the year 3394, a solar system lies shattered by an enigmatic alien race known as Gauna. Humanity clings to survival aboard seed ships—ark-like vessels launched a millennium ago to escape catastrophe. After years adrift in the void, Sidonia, a seed ship with a population surpassing 500,000, faces a renewed threat from the Gauna.
