La Bamba
Los Angeles teenager Ritchie Valens shoots to rock 'n' roll stardom in 1958 after writing the tender ballad 'Donna' for his girlfriend. As his profile rockets, he faces friction with his jealous brother Bob and is haunted by a recurring nightmare of a plane crash just as he launches his first national tour with Buddy Holly.
