Lady Jang
King Sukjong elevates a grasping concubine to the rank of Bin, a position second only to the Queen. The newly named Bin, Jang Hui-bin, ousts the Queen through a coup and usurps her place. Loyal court officials, however, uncover the ruse, and the King demotes Jang back to Bin and reinstates the Queen. Spurred by vengeance, Jang schemes with her mother to kill the Queen and reclaim the throne. The plot is exposed, and Jang is executed.
