Through an intimate portrait, this documentary follows Laerte as she embodies femininity and scrutinizes concepts and prejudices about gender. Not in search of an identity, but in search of un-identities, she crafts and dispatches creatures to confront reality in the fictional universe of comic strips, acting as a vanguard of the self. On the streets, she becomes the fiction of a real character. Laerte, of all bodies and of none, complicates every binary. By following Laerte, the film chooses to clothe the nudity beyond the skin we inhabit.
