Lassie
While en route to begin a new life on a sheep farm in rural Virginia, the Turner family are halted by a highway wreck that claims the life of a truck driver. They discover the driver's abandoned collie by the roadside and, moved by mercy, decide to adopt her. As the city family adjusts to rural life—and confronts a feud with a neighboring farm family that resents the urban newcomers—the loyal Lassie becomes a steadfast guide, helping them settle into their new surroundings.
