Movie Background

Les Girls

After publishing a tell-all book about her days in the dance troupe Barry Nichols and Les Girls, Sybil Wren is sued for libel by fellow dancer Angele. Told in a Rashomon-style format, the story unfolds from three viewpoints: Sybil's claim that Angele had an affair with Barry; Angele's insistence that it was actually Sybil who was having the affair; and finally Barry's own account.
