Life Is a Long Quiet River
Two babies are switched at birth. When the error is revealed twelve years later, it upends the lives of both families. One affluent household preserves a picture of duty and apparently contented children. The other, living in poverty, nurtures rambunctious (even delinquent) children who are often hungry, yet the house rings with laughter.
