Little Miss Marker
Sorrowful Jones is a cheap bookie plying his trade in the 1930s. When a gambler leaves his daughter as collateral for a bet, Jones is stuck with her. Her arrival triggers a dramatic shift in his life, including a sudden romance with a woman who is also involved in gambling operations.
