Louis C.K.: Live at The Comedy Store
This material was developed and prepared over the past year or so, predominantly in comedy clubs. It harks back to the days when he would simply make noises and be funny for no particular reason. He chose to shoot the special in a club to capture that live, immediate, intimate atmosphere. The performance runs about an hour. The opening act, seen at the outset, is Jay London—one of his favorite club comics dating back to the late 1980s when he first started performing in New York.
