Love in the Afternoon
Frederic embodies a prosperous bourgeois existence as a partner in a modest Parisian firm. He is happily married to Helene, a teacher who is expecting their second child. In the afternoons, he indulges in fantasies about other women, though he has no intention of acting on them. One day, Chloe—who had been the mistress of an old friend—begins dropping by his office. They meet as friends, irregularly in the afternoons, until Chloe decides to seduce Frederic, placing him in a moral dilemma.
