Love, Money, Love

David, a recently dismissed scrapyard worker, and Marie, a young prostitute, both around twenty, meet on New Year's Eve in Berlin and vow to run away together. With David's arm in a cast from a recent accident, Marie continues to prostitute herself to fund their restless journey through the Ruhr region. Their love and their will to survive guide them through every obstacle.
