Loves Company

An aging, washed-up TV personality, Blake de Troy, is rescued from a car crash by his ardent admirer, Antoinette Funk, who makes her home in the Florida Everglades. Convinced he’s been abducted, Blake first scrambles to escape, but after the death of his life partner and manager, Jimmy, he discovers he has nowhere left to turn and begins weaponizing the crisis as a publicity ploy. What follows is a spiraling, dark comedy about fame, isolation, fixation, and the feverish pull of fandom that binds these two unlikely figures.
