Mad Rush

Madisha's morning spirals into a nightmare: a rootless member of Gen Z, adrift and searching for purpose, reeling from the news that her housemate is ditching her and from the murky circumstances surrounding the loss of her most recent job. Then a call reveals fraudulent activity on her bank account and urgently requests that she withdraw all of her money in cash. What follows is a panicked odyssey through the Melbourne CBD—a journey that leads her into ominous alleyways, busy street corners, an alcohol-soaked house party, and, perhaps, the fledgling desire to take charge of her own life.
