Mad Rush

Madisha's morning can't get any worse: a rootless Gen Z wrestling with a sense of purpose, she’s just learned her housemate is leaving and she’s still reeling from a recent job loss under murky circumstances. Then a call alerts her to fraudulent activity on her bank account and urgently directs her to withdraw all of her money in cash. Madisha is swept into a panicked odyssey across Melbourne's CBD, a journey that leads through ominous alleyways, busy street corners, an alcohol-soaked house party, and, perhaps, the fledgling urge to seize control of her own life.
