Making Of
Simon, a renowned French filmmaker, launches principal photography on his next project—a drama about workers who fight to safeguard their factory from relocation. But plans derail: producer Viviane demands a rewritten ending and threatens budget cuts; his own crew goes on strike; his personal life unravels; and to complicate matters, lead actor Alain is an egocentric jerk. Joseph, an extra eager to break into the industry, volunteers to direct the making-of and document the behind-the-scenes. He approaches his new role with seriousness, shadowing the crew and capturing the chaos. What follows testifies that the process of making can be even more compelling than the finished film itself!
