Marcella is shattered when her husband Jason suddenly leaves and admits he no longer loves her. Grief-stricken, she returns to the Met’s Murder Squad. A decade earlier, she sacrificed a rapid ascent in the police ranks to marry and dedicate herself to family. Now, with the abrupt dissolution of her marriage and distance from her 13-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son, Marcella channels her turmoil into relentless work, determined not to lose herself.

Marcella was a series that I was a little apprehensive to watch for some reason but I must admit that it pleasantly surprised me. It was your run of the mill formula series. It had some very good writing and the characters were very believable, probably cause they weren’t that likable in their roles. It was a nice break from your Hollywood engine of series that come off a conveyer belt. So it had good merit. Although I’d hope they leave the series at two seasons as that could probably kill it.

**WARNING: Don't take massive amounts of narcotics and then try to write a TV show 🚨** This dumb show is a great example of writers and production both apparently consuming large amounts of hallucinogens and/or narcotics and then attempting to put together a linear story. I cannot believe Netflix let this be released in it's current state, just baffling decisions by everyone involved. It reminded me of those drug movies from the 1970s where it's clear the people behind the camera were under the completely out of it, and obviously under the influence 🥴 After seeing Season three, I fully understand why the show was canceled! **1/10 Not Recommended!**
