Tumtem, a solitary manga artist who devotes himself to his craft, stumbles upon an abandoned cat amid a fierce thunderstorm and brings it home. While preparing a meal for the cat, the power suddenly goes out, and a boy with cat ears appears before him. Concerned yet resolute, Tumtem decides to care for the boy, named Meow, until his owner is found. As no one comes forward, Tumtem begins seeking advice at an animal clinic while pondering what to do next.
