S&M2 captures the live collaboration between Metallica and the San Francisco Symphony, touted as the year's marquee concert event. The film presents 20 tracks drawn from the two-night engagement that opened San Francisco’s Chase Center, pairing Metallica fan favorites with two exclusive classical pieces selected by San Francisco Symphony Music Director Michael Tilson Thomas. Newly re-edited by the band, S&M2 features remixed and remastered audio, delivering a refreshed visual and sonic experience that marks a new look and sound from the original theatrical run in October 2019.
