An aging horror film actress and heiress to her late husband's biotech fortune, Marilyn Hardesty enters a whirlwind courtship, marriage, and funeral. Terminally ill, she is determined to cheat death and rekindle her career by transferring her mind into the body of a younger woman. With Norman Baetz, her personal assistant, she enlists the brilliant yet twisted neurobiologist Dr. Laurence Fine to fuel her obsession with immortality. Promising Reality TV stardom, they lure three young women to Marilyn's remote estate, where ulterior motives begin to unfold. Early experiments prowl the grounds, and the young women come to a grim realization: escape is their only chance of survival.
