Monty Python: Almost the Truth (The Lawyer's Cut)

A six-part 2009 television documentary charting forty years of Monty Python, from the television classic Flying Circus to contemporary projects such as the stage musical Spamalot. The series traces the group's origins, including their childhood, schooling and university years, and their pre-Python work. It features new interviews with the surviving members John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin, along with archival interview footage of Graham Chapman and conversations with several Python associates, including Carol Cleveland, Neil Innes and Chapman's partner David Sherlock, complemented by commentary from modern comedians.
