Theodore 'Teddy' Hoffman is a renowned defense attorney at a prestigious Los Angeles law firm. Following a high-profile victory in defending the wealthy yet enigmatic Richard Cross in a widely publicized murder trial, he is now involved in defending Neil Avedon, a famous young actor plagued by severe drug and alcohol problems who has been charged with the murder for which Cross was acquitted.
