Mutants

A vicious virus has ravaged humanity, mutating the population into something else. After a brief setup—complete with a messy hit-and-run—we’re introduced to an ambulance and its four occupants: Sonia and Marco together with two police officers. Tensions flare as they race toward a mythical research facility called NOAH, reputed to be infection-free and actively pursuing a cure. Circumstances force Sonia and Marco to hole up alone in an abandoned building. She’s pregnant, in love, and apparently immune to the virus… and she realizes that he’s been infected. He gradually transforms, but her love spurs a desperate bid for a cure, compelling her to survive the onslaught of the infected, attacks from still-human marauders, and the mounting threat from her baby’s daddy.
