My Love From The Star
Matteo Domingo is an extraterrestrial being who disembarked in the Philippines during the 16th century, amid the Spanish Colonial Era. He resolves to rescue a teenage girl named Marcella from tumbling off a cliff, but he misses his chance to board his return trip—the KMT 184.5 comet—and remains grounded on Earth for the next four centuries and counting. Endowed with an almost flawless form and heightened physical abilities that sharpen his vision, hearing, and speed, he harbors a caustic, jaded view of humanity. As time passes, Matteo is forced to assume a new identity every ten years, since his human appearance never ages.
