My Romance From Far Away

During a long drive from the mountains to Chiang Mai, Captain Phasut's car overturns in a fatal accident that claims his life and the life of his wife Namping. Their six-year-old son, Tawan, is fortunate not to be travelling with them that day. Namping's older brother, Khunkhao, a coffee estate owner, is shaken by the news and promptly handles the funeral arrangements. Thofah, Phasut's younger sister, arrives to take Tawan to Bangkok on behalf of his grandfather, Athit. Khunkhao is reluctant to let Tawan depart to live with a grandfather and aunt he has never met, while Thofah is prepared to do whatever it takes to complete her task.
