Nancy Nancy
Two decades after Timothy Spanos first unleashed Nancy Nancy in 2006, the writer-director revisits his cult favorite, remaking it for a fresh generation. Set on Warratah Island, the narrative centers on a tranquil life shared by two siblings that is upended when a mysterious stranger storms into their home, declares herself Nancy Nancy, and refuses to depart. What ensues is a surreal, darkly comic descent into control, humiliation, and madness as the uninvited guest slowly forges the siblings into her increasingly bizarre will.
