Natsume's Book of Friends the Movie: Ephemeral Bond
Natsume continues to navigate the delicate boundary between humans and yokai when he unexpectedly reunites with an old classmate, Yuki, reviving painful memories of a particular yokai. He also becomes acquainted with Yorie Tsumura, a woman connected to memories of a yokai whose name he had once restored. Yorie knew much about Reiko, but she now lives a peaceful life with her only son, Mukuo. Being with this family brings Natsume comfort, yet a mysterious yokai has been lurking in their town. While returning from a routine investigation, a yokai seed latched onto Nyanko Sensei drops into the Fujiwaras’ garden and overnight grows into a fruit tree. When Nyanko Sensei eats a fruit somehow shaped like himself, he suddenly splits into three.
