Natural World

Natural World is a flagship BBC Two nature documentary series that stands as a cornerstone of the BBC’s natural history brand. It is the longest-running program of its kind on British television, with over 400 episodes since its debut in 1983. Produced by the BBC Natural History Unit in Bristol, individual programmes may be in-house productions, co-productions with other broadcasters, or films produced by independent companies that the BBC acquires. Natural World titles are frequently broadcast in the USA as PBS Nature episodes. Since 2008, the majority of Natural World programmes have been shot and broadcast in high definition.
