Nature morte

In a series of sketches, professional film extras step before the camera one by one to read aloud the text printed on the back of the résumé photos they have sent to film producers. If some of these presentations provoke laughter, the blame does not lie with the extras, who are victims of their own illusions and compelled to participate in these low-cost displays. A film about cinema and about life, Nature Morte moves beyond cruelty to form a comi-tragic human document.
