NC3 is categorized as a Freestyle Motocross film. Yet, like Travis Pastrana, who is far more than a Freestyle Motocross icon, the Nitro Circus series transcends a simple FMX feature. It chronicles the drive to push the boundaries of human ability and spirit. At times it registers as heroic, and at other moments as sheer insanity.
