Northfork

In 1955, a looming flood threatens Northfork, Montana, as a new hydroelectric dam is set to be erected in the mountains above the town, aimed at submerging the valley in the name of progress. A six-man Evacuation Committee bears the duty of relocating the townspeople to higher ground. Most have already left, yet a handful of stubborn stragglers remain, including a priest tending a sickly orphan, and a boy whose feverish visions suggest he is part of a roaming band of lost angels desperately seeking a way home.
