As the sole Black student at the elite Palmetto Grove Academy, Odin James commands the admiration of all, from the team's coach to the Dean's beautiful daughter Desi. Odin's troubled friend Hugo, the coach's son, resents his father's favoritism toward Odin on and off the court and hatches a diabolical plot to seed mistrust between Odin and Desi, setting in motion a disturbing chain of events that erupts into a firestorm of breathtaking intensity.
