On the tiny island of Martha's Vineyard, where presidents and celebrities seek respite, the emergence of trophy homes risks erasing the island's distinctive character. Spanning twelve years in the making, One Big Home follows a carpenter as he seeks to understand the growing trend of oversized houses. When he confronts his own complicity in altering the place he calls home, he sheds his tool belt and picks up a camera.
