A semi-autobiographical dark comedy starring Tig Notaro follows her return to her hometown after her mother's sudden death. Still grappling with her own health challenges, she struggles to regain her footing in the wake of losing the one person who truly understood her. As she confronts this absence, she must contend with a clingy girlfriend and a dysfunctional family.
