One Night Stand
Set in Los Angeles, Max Carlyle earns a comfortable living directing commercials and enjoys a happy home life with his wife Mimi and their two children. When he travels to New York City to visit his friend Charlie, who has been diagnosed with AIDS, he encounters a beautiful woman named Karen on several occasions and ultimately sleeps with her. He returns home the next day and does not come back for a year, yet the shadow of his infidelity lingers.
