Water Seven
The Straw Hats arrive in Water 7, an oceanic metropolis, in search of a shipwright who can repair the Going Merry and possibly join their crew. They soon come under threat from the Franky Family, the city's underground gang, and become embroiled in a plot within the Galley-La Company. Amid Robin's disappearance and a widening rift between Luffy and Usopp, the crew begins to fall apart.

After the Going Merry narrowly escapes a "sea train", the crew meets an elderly woman named Kokoro and her granddaughter Chimney. Kokoro gives Luffy a map to Water Seven. Luffy, Nami, and Usopp buy boats driven by sea monsters called "yagara".
