Paparazzi
Paparazzi examines the bond and tension between Brigitte Bardot and groups of intrusive photographers who attempt to capture her as she works on the set of Jean-Luc Godard's Le Mépris (Contempt). Through an assemblage of Bardot's video footage, interviews with the paparazzi, and stills of Bardot from magazine covers and other sources, director Rozier delves into the ramifications of international stardom, notably the erosion of privacy under the constant glare of photographers. The film also details the production of Le Mépris on Capri and the photographers' valiant, yet often foolhardy, efforts to photograph Bardot.
