Renowned archaeologist Emma Fielding is hired to advise on the acquisition of a castle-like estate, a property locals claim is cursed. When she discovers the body of the archaeologist she was hired to shadow, concealed in a secret chamber deep within the sprawling building, she is swept into a murder investigation. Aided by her friend, FBI special agent Jim Conner, Fielding must sift through clues and a long list of suspects, each with a motive to see the man dead, to determine who the killer is.
