Peter-No-Tail

Peter-No-Tail is a tailless cat born on a farm in the Swedish countryside. Facing financial hardship, the farmer decides to part with Peter. Unable to bring himself to drown him, the farmer secretly slips Peter into the car of a family renting a summer home near the farm. When the family reaches their house in Uppsala, Sweden, they choose to keep Peter. Lacking a tail, he becomes the talk of the town among the other cats, especially Mike, who teases him mercilessly. Mike and his two companions, Bill and Bull, are notorious for the nasty tricks they play on other cats. Mike is pursuing Molly Silk-Nose, but his rough, silly approach does not win her over, as she becomes drawn to Peter's kind nature. Yet Mike refuses to concede and hatches a plan for revenge.
