Playing God

After his medical license is revoked for performing an operation while under the influence of amphetamines, renowned Los Angeles surgeon Dr. Eugene Sands abandons his former life and finds himself crossing paths with Raymond Blossom, a notorious counterfeiter. Employed as a gun-shot doctor when Raymond's associates cannot risk visiting a hospital, Eugene is lured deeper into the criminal underworld and becomes entangled with his boss's girlfriend.
