Poor Cow

A young woman spirals through a life defined by poor choices. Early on she marries and has a child with an abusive thief who quickly lands in prison. Left to face life alone, she becomes involved with the thief’s accomplice, another thief who initially brings her happiness but who also ends up imprisoned. She then passes through a string of seedy suitors who offer nothing but momentary pleasures—if any.
